The City of Falcon Heights has received many questions regarding the policing contract for 2022. Mayor Randy Gustafson addressed these questions in an interview to inform residents about law enforcement services provided by Ramsey County.

City of Falcon Heights Statement in Support of Somali and Karen Residents

The City of Falcon Heights highly disapproves of President Trump’s attempt to end Temporary Protected Status for Somali and Karen residents, and for stoking tension and fear by targeting Somali residents with forced deportation.

We stand firm on our long-standing policies and practices. Employees of Falcon Heights and the agencies we contract with shall not discriminate based on race, immigration status, sexuality, creed, religion, disabilities or any other identity. Our city believes everyone deserves to be able stay in the place they call home with their families, friends and neighbors.
